Letter addressed from 'Polytechnic' to 'Dear Sir', inviting the recipient to a Royal Jubilee Service to be held on Sunday 20 June 1897. The letter discusses the monarchy, republicanism, the Colonies, and the effect of the Poly's growing numbers on its spiritual life. Also mentions the Sisters Institute.
