The M70 Alpenflage jacket includes ten pockets in total: five bellow pockets on the front, three on the lower back, and one on the left sleeve. An angled, square, patch pocket with a flap is found on either side of the chest. There is a pocket on each arm at the shoulder. There are strips of velcro at the neckline and at the chest.
