The cuffs have a single strap with a single 'Navy Arctic' button closure on each side. The body of the jacket has a lilac dimond quilted lining and a blue internal drawstring at the waist. The hood is lined with self fabric, shaped with a topstitched dart and has eight black 'BNV' poppers at the brim, secured through a green cotton facing. The coat has an inner collar and panels that have been top stitched down across the shoulder and back to reinforce it (similar to donkey jacket detailing). The two front patch pockets are strengthened with tape at the openings and lined with a brushed drill. The sleeves are constructed from one piece and feature adjustable tabs at the cuffs secured with two black 'Navy Arctic' buttons. The green lining is comprised of the top half in a green wool blend and the bottom half in quilted nylon. There are two vent hole under each armhole. The right pocket front edge is sewn to the front body, however the bottom and back edge are sewn through the body and back lining indicating a repair, manufacturer fault or sample garment. The design is based on the American military A-1 jacket, which was first manufactured in 1927. It has a narrow leather collar and leather cuffs, whereas the A-1 jacket has ribbed collar and cuffs. The leather cuffs have two button closures on each sleeve. It has two dual entry pockets with flaps and adjustable two button closures on each. The back features an action pleat on either side and a cotton rib waistband. It has run and fell seams with top stitching all over the body and sleeves. The fly has a button closure made up of six cream buttons and an extended tab that is secured to the waistband with a silver hook and bar. There are two darts on either side of the back leading to a single back pocket on the right side with curved flap and single button closure. The waistband has five narrow belt loops and six internal buttons sewn in probably to allow a top or shirt to be secured. The waistband is lined with cream cotton and the pocket bags are made of a cream cotton drill but the shorts are unlined. All internal seams are raw and crimped. Navy poly cotton workwear trousers featuring large rectangular reinforcement panels sew onto the front and back legs. The button down fly has four grey 'Dockers LS&Co' buttons to fasten and a visible grey button to close the grown on waistband. There are six wide belt loops attached to the waistband along with a Dockers patch attached to the back right side and two darts sewn into the back of the waistband that end in two single welt back pockets. The large slant front pockets are both secured with a central grey button. Both trouser legs feature a 30cm long silver plastic zip inserted into topstitched panels that run up the centre back of each leg. The zips open to an inserted gusset panel. Both legs also have large patch pockets sewn onto the lower side outer leg that fasten with a silver plastic zip and green Dockers woven zip pull. Both trouser legs are finished with extra reinforceing constrasting internal and external khaki hems.
