The shirt is finished with white top stitching and features a placket that finishes half way down the shirt with three white mother of pearl buttons to close. The back of the shirt has short two piece yoke with a centre box pleat below. The cuffs are wide with four button holes on each in the absence of two cufflinks per cuff. The detachable collar is short and curved and has been 'Trubenised' - the process of stiffening a collar without the use of starch. The shirt is 'sanforized shrunk' which was a pre-shrunk material guarantee (Sanforized was the American method, Rigmel was the British method). The shirt has a curved hem with curved side vents finished with triangular tabs on either side. It has a 'CC41' Utility label.
