1. Photograph of Bobby Mills in an indoor setting. Mills won the Poly Marathon three times, in 1920, 1921, and 1922.

2. Photograph of Albert Hill in an outdoor setting. Hill had an impressive run at the summer Olympics in Antwerp, in 1920, winning gold in both the mens 800m and 1500m. He had to settle for a silver in the AT/M/430: 3000m team event. n.d.

5. Photograph showing Harry Edward winning the AAA 220y in 22 secs at Stamford Bridge on 02/07/1922. On this day Edward was also able to win the 100y in 10.0 secs and the 440y in 50.4 secs. Edward had previously won two Olympic bronze medals at the summer Olympics in Antwerp, in 1920. An identical version of this image can be found on page 41a.
