Tuxedo trousers in a black woollen fabric. Trousers are front fastening via a zip with a double hook and eye fastening on and extended waistband tab. There is a dart on either side of the fly. On either side of the waistband, just back from the side seams, there is a pair of small buttons and a tab with a buttonhole. This tab can be fastened depending on how much stability is needed. On the inside of the lined waistband there are three pairs of white buttons to allow braces to be worn. The trousers have four pockets. two angled pockets at the waist and two jetted pockets with a button closure at the reverse. The edge of the waist pockets are finished with black ribbon. This ribbon runs the length of the side seam of the trousers to the hem. On the inside of the trousers, the pocket bags are stamped repeatedly with 'Nylon Reinforced, Extra Strong Pocketing.' Black wool dress suit or evening wear trousers - part of a suit. They have a narrow line of black rayon braid down the outside of each leg. They fasten centre front with a button fly and have buttons at the waistband for braces. The inside waistband is lined in cream rayon and the pocket bags are cream cotton. There is evidence of wear and staining to the pocket bags and around the bottom of the cuffs inside the hem. The trousers have been altered by being let out at the centre back seam with inserts to the waistband lining. Hepworths

Trousers from a three piece brown Trevira and wool suit. The fasten centre front with a brown Opti zip and two metal hook and bar fastenings at the waistband. The waistband is narrow with six narrow belt loops. The trousers have a flat front with no pleats or darts. Two angled pockets at the front hips and one jetted pocket to the back right that fastens with a button and loop. The waistband lining and pocket bags are made of dark cream fabric. Hepworths

Trousers from three piece wool tweed workwear suit with cotton lining. The wool tweed is dark grey herringbone twill - the tweed is different from the jacket and waistcoat. The trousers have a high-rise waist, wide leg with turn up cuffs, two front pockets and a single rear pocket which fastens with a buttoning flap. The front waist has no separate waistband, the back waist is made up of triangular sections and with a centre V-notch. The front fly fastens with black plastic buttons and there are four buttons at the front waist and four at the back for braces. The pockets and waist are lined in white twill cotton which is stained. The flock print begins below the hips following a curved line matching the front of the suit jacket. They fasten centre front with a button fly and have rounded cut away pockets at the front hips.
