In addition to press cuttings the volume includes many photographs, postcards and leaflets. The volume includes several Polytechnic Touring Association trips - to the Baltic on the SY Ceylon in 1896 (pages 90-91), and in 1897 (pages 124-125); the French Riviera in 1897 (pages 138-139); Norway on the Ceylon in 1898 (pages 158-162).
The original spine of the volume was labelled '1893-1899 at the Polytechnic'.
