            Dark blue nylon short jacket with cotton rib collar. It fastens centre front with a zip and has a small triangular tab at the top of the zip which buttons at the neck, covering the top of the zip closure. The turn down collar is dark blue cotton ribbing with a stripe of red at the bottom edge. There are three front pockets which close with zips, one at the right chest and two angled pockets at the waist. The waistband has a button tab in the centre and is elasticated at the sides and back. It has narrow cuffs which close with one button. All of the buttons are dark blue plastic with four holes. The jacket body is lined in striped blue and red cotton, the sleeves in nylon. Size M.             Black cotton jacket with pointed fronts and zip fastening. The jacket cut creates the effect of a stand collar - it is cut in one with the front and back panels. It fastens centre front with a silver coloured metal zip with double headed metal pull tags. It has two inserted angled pockets which close with metal zips. The back has a centre seam and a large horizontal inserted pocket across the lower back. The pocket closes with a metal zip and the pocket bag extends below the bottom hem of the jacket. Lined in black cotton.

            Raincoat or top coat made of mottled tan brown wool gabardine with raglan sleeves. It has a turn down collar and peaked lapels with a buttonhole in the left lapel. It fastens centre front with four large plastic buttons and a concealed fly. There are two pockets at the front waist with vertical welted openings. The sleeve cuffs have three small brown plastic buttons and it is lined in gold yellow rayon. There is a hanging loop in the back of the neck and the back of the coat has a long centre vent.

            Long double breasted coat made of dark and light grey flecked yarn woven in a check pattern with wide shoulders and shoulder pads. It has a narrow turn down collar and pointed lapels with a button hole in the right side. The coat fastens with two buttons and shows four buttons - all black plastic with four holes. There is a welted chest pocket on the right and two horizontal jetted pockets at the waist. The coat has full sleeves and a V-shaped silhouette from the wide shoulders, narrowing to the bottom, it has a long vent in the centre back. It is lined in black rayon and has a hanging loop in the back of the neck. Size 46.

The coat fastens with three buttons and a concealed fly at the centre front and has two pockets with wide flaps steeply angled over the hips.             Tan brown cotton tailored single breasted jacket with wide shoulders and small notched collar and lapels. The collar and lapels are edged with three rows of top stitching, which continues down the front edges of the jacket around the curved cut of the hem and around the sleeve cuff. It fastens with three plastic buttons and has a high break point. On the right chest is an angled welted pocket and the jacket has two large patch pockets at the hips with curved bottom edges. No back vents. The lining is black mesh fabric and it has a hanging loop label in the back of the neck with 'Made in Italy' woven into the tape. Size S

            Black double breasted long tailored jacket with exaggerated wide shoulders and wide pointed lapels. The jacket fastens with two black plastic buttons and shows eight - the top pair widely spaced at chest level. The wide shoulders are emphasised with shoulder pads and there are no back vents. There is a button hole in the left lapel and an angled chest pocket with a wide welt. There are two flapped pockets at the hips. The cuff vents close with three small black plastic buttons and there is a hanging loop at the centre back neck. The jacket is lined in bright red rayon printed with an ornate pattern in blue, white, pink, orange and mustard yellow. Size 50. Label in back of neck, care label cut out.

            Short blue denim jacket with cut off unsewn frayed bottom hem edge. It was originally dark blue raw denim and has faded with washing and wear. The jacket closes centre front with five gold coloured metal buttons etched with 'JUNIOR GAULTIER'. It has two pockets on the chest with pointed flaps and sleeve cuffs that fasten with the same buttons as the front fastening. Size M.

            T-shirt style short sleeved top in polyester elastane printed with an all over marbled pattern in brown, cream, grey and black. It has brown rib knit neck band and arm bands. The neck is very high. It has three metal eyelet holes at the back of the neck above a hanging loop and metal eyelet holes under the arms. Not labelled but donor remembers that it was Jean Paul Gaultier Maille.
