History
The company was started in 1975 by Jeff Clyman and Jacky Clyman in New York. They began making technical military aviation clothing and had contracts with the US Air Force and NASA. The company name was trademarked in 1984. In 1987 they worked with the US Air Force to produce a replica of the 1943 A-2 flight jacket. They moved into commercial and fashion garments and the brand was sold to Marc Ecko Enterprises in 2006.
