            Obverse: Bare smaller head of George V left, truncated below the neck. On the truncation B M (Sir Bertram Mackennal) near the back of the neck. GRA: and BRITT: closer together with the TT farther apart. Toothed border and narrow, raised rim. Light finish. Composition changed (in 1923) to .955 copper, .030 tin, .015 zinc.             Reverse: Britannia, helmeted and wearing long robes, seated on a rock facing right. Her left hand is raised and grasps a plain trident just below the prongs. Her right hand rests on the upper left edge of a large oval shield bearing the crosses of St George and St Andrew (the Union Flag). On the right side, the horizon intersects Britannia exactly where her legs cross. More curve has been added to the waves at her feet. Smaller right hand with the thumb higher on the shield than those before 1926. Drapery altered, most noticeably in the area below her arm. Date in exergue. Toothed border with a narrow, raised rim.
