An in-depth study of the Vatican, in eight volumes. The fifth volume has the following chapters: Hall of the Animals; Statue Gallery; Cabinet of Masks; Innocent VIII Loggia; Hall of the Muses; Room called Rotonda; Greek Cross Room. Following, are a suite of drawings, elevations, sections and plans of and from the aforementioned rooms. The illustrations also depict designs of pavements, mosaics, paintings, statues, doors, bas-reliefs, urns and other architectural decorations.
