The fourth volume concentrates on the Museums of Vatican, with the following chapters: Introduction; New Wing of the Chiaramonti Museum; Corridor called Chiaramonti; Garden of the Pigna; Belvedere Hemicycle; Objects of Egypt; Bas-reliefs of the Parthenon; Square vestibule of the Pio Clementino Museum; Meleager House; Porch of the Court; Perseus Cabinet; Mercury Cabinet; Laocoonte Cabinet; Apollo's Cabinet, Octagonal Atrium. Following, are a suite of drawings, elevations, sections and plans of and from: New Wing; Garden of Pigna; Egyptian Museum; Gessi del Partenone or Attico Museum; Vestibule known as the Torso; Meleager House; Perseus Cabinet; Mercury Cabinet; Laocoonte Cabinet; Apollo Cabinet; Courtyard called Ottagono.
