The second volume containing the architectural works of Robert and James Adam, Esquires. The buildings included are: House of the Earl of Derby, in Grosvenor Square; House of Sir Watkin Wiliams Wynn, Baronet, in St. James's Square; House of Earl Shelburne, in Berkeley Square; Seat of the Duke of Northumberland, at Sion; Various Designs of Public and Private Buildings. Each chapter begins with the explanations of the plates, followed by engravings of plans, elevations, sections and interiors of the buildings, some to scale.
