Wide leg, cotton jeans in a red, white and dark blue stripe. Trousers are front fastening via four white, plastic buttons. The waistband has seven loops to enable a belt to be worn. There is a patch pocket on either side of the front opening of the jeans. There are also two patch pockets at the reverse. The jeans have a matching belt with a white clip fastening and red, white and dark blue horizontal stripes.

Sanforization works by stretching, shrinking and fixing woven cloth in both length and width before garments are cut from it. The aim is to reduce the chance of the finished garment shrinking when washed. The process was patented in 1930 by Sanford Lockwood Cluett in 1930.
