Jean Paul Gaultier launched the Junior Gaultier line in 1988. It was designed as a lower-priced range aimed at the youth market. The Junior Gaultier label was replaced in 1994 with JPG by Gaultier, a unisex collection.

Tan brown cotton tailored single breasted jacket with wide shoulders and small notched collar and lapels. The collar and lapels are edged with three rows of top stitching, which continues down the front edges of the jacket around the curved cut of the hem and around the sleeve cuff. It fastens with three plastic buttons and has a high break point. On the right chest is an angled welted pocket and the jacket has two large patch pockets at the hips with curved bottom edges. No back vents. The lining is black mesh fabric and it has a hanging loop label in the back of the neck with 'Made in Italy' woven into the tape. Size S
