GHILLIE SUIT TROUSERS
Mil-Tec
2016
Ghillie is a reference to the Ghillie Dhu, a male fairy from Scottish mythology clad in leaves and moss. These winter ghillie trousers are part of a suit designed to provide concealment for hunting and other outdoor activities. It consists of four items: a jacket, trousers, a rifle cover and a head covering with a mesh panel for protection against mosquitoes. Constructed from a lightweight mesh fabric to allow for ventilation, it is covered with long white and grey fibres disrupting the silhouette of the wearer. The suit is designed to be easily removed; the jacket fastens with plastic poppers and the trousers have an elasticated waist with an adjustable drawstring and cord stopper.
