Sleeveless shirt in a red cotton fabric. Shirt has a wide camp collar with five red buttons to fasten the centre front. Around each arm hole is bright blue, knitted ribbing in a zig zag and stripe pattern. There is a cinch tab on either side of the hem with one red button.
Joe Casely-Hayford
Blue denim bleach patterned waistcoat with V-neck and fastening with five buttons. The denim has been bleached or acid treated in a random splash and drip pattern creating layers of colour, pale blue, cream and off white. The waistcoat hem and collar have frayed unfinished edges. There are two horizontal pocket welts on the front, the one on the left has a red label with 'MCQUEEN' on it. There are no shoulder seams - the front panels come over the back to a sharp angle creating an inverted V-shape to the back of the waistcoat. It has two tabs fastening with a metal buckle. Seams are stitched with yellow thread. The inside seams are bound with cotton tape. Care label has been cut out. Size 50.
Alexander McQueen
Dark brown corduroy trousers with black ribbing cuffs. They fasten with two metal hook and bars to the waistband and have a YKK zip fly. There are two angled inserted zipped pockets to the front that are finished with black leather jetting and black leather triangles at each end. The rear has one patch pocket to the right side. The bottom of each leg has a YKK zip opening on the outside from mid-calf to the ribbed cuff. The waistband is lined in ribbed grip fabric. Woven black label with white and red playing card motifs in the centre back inside waistband. Size 30.
Joe Casely-Hayford
Khaki blazer with cream contrast stitching. There is a notch lapel covering a line of security stitching holding back the facing. The jacket is unlined, with facings on the hems finished with contrast stitching. The centre front closes with three brown buttons and cream button holes. There is a double jet pocket on the chest, closed with a button. The side panel is shaped into a curve panel finished with a line of tripple top stitching, with the inside panel shaped with a top stitched dart. The curved panel continues into the underarm where it cuts off the front sleeve seam. Both the front and back sleeve seam, and curved seam are finished with tripple top stitching. The centre back and back seams are finised in the same way, with a single vent in the centre back. The jacket it entirely unstructured. Made in Japan.
Issey Miyake
Trousers with a kilt made from a heavy woollen tweed fabric in brown with flecks of green. Trousers are front fastening via a zip with a black, plastic button at the waistband. On the inside of the fly is a concealed fabric tab with a buttonhole which fastens onto a button on the lining at the opposing side of the opening. Seven loops are found at the waistband to enable a belt to be worn. Large, vertical, welt pockets are found at either side of the waist. A feature is made of each side seam as they are stitched to give the impression of being inside out. At the reverse of the trousers there is a single flap pocket with a black, plastic button fastening on the left side. The kilt section of the trousers begins at the right side of the reverse, where a second back pocket would be. The kilt has box pleats and wraps around the right leg and across the front of the trousers, concealing the fly fastening. It then fastens via two straps attached to the left hip which each thread through a silver buckle which is stitched on a tab at the edge of the kilt. The waistband and front panel of the trousers is lined in a grey, cotton fabric.
Comme des Garçons Homme Plus
Black trousers in a lightweight wool fabric. Trousers are front fastening via a zip fly and a single grey / black plastic button at the waist. The waistband has eight belt loops and a tab with a button fastening at each side seam. At each hip are slanted, welt pockets, with two patch pockets found at the reverse of the trousers. Yellow, reflective, polyeurethane strips run down the length of the side seams on each trouser leg. The trousers are unlined.
Comme des Garçons Homme Plus
Lightweight sweatshirt that pulls on the body over the head. The front of the sweater is in cream wool which is knitted in a cable knit pattern. The neckline is ribbed but rolls back on itself and so gives the impression of piping around the edge of the neck. The sleeves of the sweatshirt are made from a cotton jersey fabric with ribbed cuffs. The 6cm, ribbed hem of the sweatshirt is also made from the same orange, cotton, jersey fabric. The back of the sweatshirt uses the same cream wool as the front but does not uses a simple stocking stitch.
