Brown fine cotton long sleeved shirt printed with a design of small spots and a stylised floral motif in beige, green and yellow. It fastens centre front with six buttons. It has a button down pointed collar, one button rounded cuffs and two patch pockets with buttoning flaps at the chest. All the buttons are mother of pearl shell. Size 1. Label 'Jean Cacharel / Paris' - this is different from the women's wear labels of the same period, perhaps the shirt was made under licence.

Black cotton and vinyl peaked cap with detachable enamel and metal badge (part of a uniform of jacket, trousers and cap). The cap has a black vinyl crown and faded black cotton band. The stiff peak is black with a green underside and the lining of the cap is black cotton. It is stamped with BR and 6 1/2 in a roundel. The lining sweat band is leather (in poor condition). The enamel badge is red and brass coloured metal with 'BRITISH RAILWAYS' in a sans serif font and 'J PINCHES LONDON' on the back. There is some damage to the enamel.

Dark red wool hooded sports jacket with metal zip front fastening. It has white flocking ‘F M A’ appliqued to the left chest. Drawstrings of dark red cord around the hood and bottom hem. Slanted welted hand warmer pockets to each side of the front at waist. Elasticated hems at cuffs.

Sleeveless v-neck pullover top with front of black and white pile fur fabric.
His Clothes
Single breasted, red tartan evening jacket in a lightweight, wool fabric with a shawl collar. The tartan has a bright red background with thick, criss-crossing vertical and horizontal stripes in black. A fine, yellow stripe is laid over the black and follows the same pattern, The lining, collar and the two jetted pockets at the waist are made of black satin. The jacket is fastened by a single, satin covered button and each cuff by two smaller satin buttons.
Rabhor Robes
Black PVC cap with a peak and neck flap covering. It is lined in black wool and the peak is stiffened with five lines of stitching. It has a length of black cotton tape (chin strap?) attached to two sides of the cap. The inside of the neck flap is printed in white 'B R B N / D 7 1/4 / 25/64'

Zip fronted jacket in a black and grey stripe. The jacket has a v- neckline and a turn down collar. Two patch pockets [14cm length] are appliquéd to the jacket at either side of the waist. One round, white, pearl button fastens each cuff. The Black Vince label is sewn inside the collar.

Black melton wool blazer, single breasted with three patch pockets. Collar, lapels, front edge, bottom hem, tops of pockets and bottom of sleeves above the cuffs are trimmed with cream or off-white grosgrain ribbon. The ribbon is stained and yellowing. The chest pocket has a hand embroidered badge in the shape of a shield with the Latin phrase 'Labore et Honore' underneath. The sleeves are lined in cream striped cotton and the rest of the blazer is unlined with seams finished with black binding. Label in the back of the neck 'Bukta Made in England' and underneath a label with handwriting: D. H. Bowen.

Blue cotton knitted jersey shirt with long sleeves and a woven cotton turn down collar. It has a deep V stripe in white across the chest. The neck opening fastens with one button and the cuffs are blue ribbing. Label in the back of the neck: Bukta / REGD / HOOKER / Made in England

Blazer in a blue and cream striped linen fabric. Blazer has a high notch collar and is front fastening via three plastic buttons. A welted, breast pocket sits on the left side of the chest and a jetted pocket with a flap is on either side of the waist. At the back of the jacket there is a centre seam and a double vent. On the inside, the jacket is half lined with a single jetted pocket on the left side of the chest.
