Shorts or swimsuit made of cotton in a check design in shades of green, red, black and yellow on an off-white background (part of a two piece set). They have elasticated waist and channel for a drawcord (missing), a small flapped key pocket that fastens with a red plastic button, and a stretchy mesh lining. There are short vents in each side seam and a Jantzen logo badge (a woman diving) sewn onto the bottom of the left front leg. Label in the centre back waistband.

Short sleeved shirt with a turn down collar and three patch pockets, two at the hips and one at the left chest (part of a two piece set). The shirt is made of lightweight cotton in a check design in shades of green, red, black and yellow on an off-white background. It fastens centre front with six red buttons - the top button fastens with a loop under the collar. The button second from bottom is a replacement and does not match. The check on the pocket patches is on the diagonal. The shirt bottom is squared off at the front and back and there are short vents in the side seams. The a back shoulder yoke check is on the diagonal. Label in the back of the neck.

Vest top in a mid blue, cotton fabric. At the centre front of the vest is a shield shaped, fabric badge in a darker blue. Embroidered onto this is a daffodil and the letters MTC [for Monmouthshire Training College], both in gold.
Bukta
Bright blue wool knitted swimsuit or trunks with white elasticated belt striped with two lines of silver-coloured thread and a silver-coloured shield-shaped buckle. The suit has a high waist and belt loops with narrow white stripes down each side seam. The leg openings are cut around the top of the thigh. There is a a sewn on shield-shaped badge to the left front near the hem with the Bukta emblem of a woman in a swimsuit riding a flying fish - this emblem is also engraved into the belt badge.

It has a placket at the neck which fastens with three white plastic buttons. Large white '4' appliqued onto the centre back (appears to have been added later). Label on the inside of the back of the neck with 'UMBRO' inside a diamond shape.
