It has a loose chest canvas, traditional in the English version of the drape cut. It is fully lined with green/grey lining and has circular arc quilting on two inside pockets. It closes with a single black plastic button at the front. There is no back vent.

The internal tab also has four buttons and there are six ivory buttons sewn on around the waistband for the attachment of braces. It has a front change pocket with flap and button closure on the right side and two slant front pockets along with two back jetted pockets with button closures. It has '30W, 30L' written in pen into the waistband and features stitched turn ups.

Lined in black twill rayon, sleeves lined in cream rayon. Hand and machine stitched. Evidence of alteration with inserts to the lining at the shoulders. Two horizontal jetted pockets at the front waist and one angled welted pocket at the left chest. Inside chest pocket in the lining.

Black wool dress suit or evening wear trousers - part of a suit. They have a narrow line of black rayon braid down the outside of each leg. They fasten centre front with a button fly and have buttons at the waistband for braces. The inside waistband is lined in cream rayon and the pocket bags are cream cotton. There is evidence of wear and staining to the pocket bags and around the bottom of the cuffs inside the hem. The trousers have been altered by being let out at the centre back seam with inserts to the waistband lining.

Long sleeve khaki General Post Office workwear jacket with notch lapel. The button stand consists of three black pin head shank buttons with metal plate on the underside of the button stand and key ring to interchange the button components. The front body has two straight pocket flaps top stitched with matching khaki thread. there two further rows of top stitching across the waist on the front body, but this does not follow through into the back of the garment. the lapel is also finished with a 5 mm top stitch which continues down to the hem of the jacket. The collar is finished with red cord, which is also used on the top sleeve of the jacket and top stitched in red. the under sleeve is secured used a felled seam and hemmed with a 15 mm unturned hem. the jacket is unlined, exposing the inner construction. but there is a jetted pocket stitched into the right hand facing side of the jacket lapel. The cross back of the jacket is lined and finished with a baby overlocking stitch. The internal pocketing is made from the same material as the outer body of the jacket. There are three machine stitched eyelets under each arm hole and two eyelets on the front left chest.

Blue boiler suit with mitres breast patch pocket and two slanted trouser pockets at the suits hip. On the back facing of the slanted trouser pocket is a side slit pocket secured with a bar tack to the top. Five button boiler suit concealed front. ' PEX WEAR' is embossed onto metal shank buttons. There is one mitred patch pocket on the rear back right hand side of the boiller suit. there are two leg square patch pockets stitched into the trouser out seam at the thigh. Felled seams are used through out the boiler suit. An inner belt is stitched in the nape of the centre back. 'PEXWEAR' is part of John Peck and Co Ltd, and was designed and manufactured in Liverpool
Pexwear
Long coat made of dark green leather. It has a wide collar and lapels, each lapel has a button hole. The coat opens down the centre front and is closed with a separate belt which has two leather covered rectangular buckles. The belt has four lines of stitching and is attached to the coat at the left waist with a line of vertical stitching. There are similarly stitched tabs forming each cuff on the sleeves which fasten with leather covered buttons. The back of the coat has a long centre vent. It is lined in grey rayon and has a leather hanging loop in the back of the neck above the makers label.

Royal Air Force blue grey wool gaberdine raincoat or overcoat. It is calf-length and double-breasted with a large turn-down convertible collar (worn open or closed) and wide notched lapels. The coat has button-down shoulder epaulettes and a button-down storm flap to the front-right shoulder. It is front fastening with five rows of two black plastic buttons and has a detachable waist belt of matching fabric with a single-pronged leather-faced buckle and metal eyelets. The belt can be fitted through two belt loops at the rear waist. There are vertical welted slash pockets, with single button closure, to either side of the waist and the sleeve cuffs have button-tab adjusters. At the back is a tail vent fastened by one button. All buttons are of black plastic and are of the four-hole type. Internally, the greatcoat is fully-lined in pale grey twill cotton with a hanging loop (damaged) in the back of the neck.
