            Dark blue wool and vicuña sports shorts with very full balloon legs which curve out at the thigh. The shorts have a waistband and fasten centre front with a plastic button tab at the top and short button fly. The inside waistband is lined in dark blue cotton. Label in the back of the inside waistband.

            Raincoat or top coat made of mottled tan brown wool gabardine with raglan sleeves. It has a turn down collar and peaked lapels with a buttonhole in the left lapel. It fastens centre front with four large plastic buttons and a concealed fly. There are two pockets at the front waist with vertical welted openings. The sleeve cuffs have three small brown plastic buttons and it is lined in gold yellow rayon. There is a hanging loop in the back of the neck and the back of the coat has a long centre vent.

            Scarlet red wool bespoke tailored hunting coat with waist seam and full skirts. Tattersall check wool lining. Buttons have been removed. Four interior pockets with zip closures - two at the chest and two 'poachers' pockets in the skirts. Zips with 'LIGHTENING' on the tabs. Staining and damage to the exterior of the coat. Tailoring label on inside of right chest interior pocket.

            Black knitted wool swimsuit (bathing suit) with cross strap back knitted body. Neck and sleeve hem is cover stitched to secure the raw edge of the fabric. The shoulder strap has been overlocked onto the cross strap which is looped through the centre back of the suit. The raw edge of the leg hem is overlocked and finished using a blind stitch, and a seperate crotch piece cut on the bias has been overlocked into the crotch of the swimsuit. The same overlocked method of finished has been used throughout the swimsuit. Designer unknown

            Black and grey pinstripe tailored pair of trousers (part of a three piece morning suit or formal wear). They have a twin pleated front and a five button fly front with extended waistband which are unlined. Waistline change pocket is positioned to the front right hand side underneath the waistband. There are two black 'Austin Reed' brace buttons on the front of the waistband. The waistband is lined in cream cotton. Internal pocket bags are made of heavy weight cream cotton. The trousers have two external jetted rear pockets on the back and two braces buttons on the centre back of the waistband. The trouser hem is upturned with a hand stitched finish.             Light grey wool double breasted peak lapel backless waistcoat (part of a three piece morning suit or formal wear). It has six grey mother of pearl buttons and hand sewn fish eye button holes. There are four outer welt pockets on the front. The waistcoat front body is fully lined in pale grey twill rayon. The lining is extended across the back of the collar, there is no back and the front is held in place by an adjustable waist strap across the back. On the front, at the edge of the peak of the lapel, it has been stitched to the collar to hold it position. There is an Austin Reed label in the back of the neck. Austin Reed

            Fitted black wool tailcoat with linked button front (part of a three piece morning suit or formal wear). Peak lapel front and a single lapel buttonhole on the left lapel. There is a breast pocket with welt on the left hand side of the chest. Two part sleeve construction and the cuff finished with four buttons. The coat is fully lined in black twill rayon with contrasting sleeve lining.

            There is a hanging loop stitched into the centre back underneath the collar. Two buttons are positioned at the waist of the centre back on either side of the centre vent, a folded pleat follows from each centre back button to the tail hem. The tails have two pockets stitched into the centre back on each side of the single vent. Black and white Austin Reed woven brand label with customers name in the inside pocket in the chest lining .

            Green, red, yellow and white stripe rugby football blazer for St Peter's College, Saltley, Birmingham, 1938. It is single breasted and fastens with three brass shank buttons. It has two patch pockets and a third left chest pocket with the metal bullion embroidered coat of arms for Saltley College. The latin motto reads 'Nulla Sine Sale Salus'. There is a green felted tab underneath the pocket embroidered with 'S.C.R.F.. 1938-9' in reference to Saltley College Rugby Football Club'. It is unlined and has no back vents, internal pockets, cuff vents or buttons.

            Double breasted long line jacket with wide, curved lapels and wide padded shoulders and extra shoulder roll to create a broad silhouette. A button hole features on each lapel. It has four buttons at the front and fastens with a single button and internal security button and three buttons at each cuff (non working). It has a curved welt pocket on the left breast and two jetted pockets without flaps. It has two front central darts that run into the jetted pockets and no back vents to ensure a fitted silhouette. It is unusually lined in a black cotton sateen with the sleeves lined in a beige cotton with black and blue stripes.
