Hooded surplice or tunic made from white cotton. Garment is ankle length with wide, three quarter length sleeves with large hems. Pulling on over the head, the surplice has a deep v neck that fastens with a single, fabric covered button on a banded collar. Gathering detail runs under the collar seam and along the shoulder seams, both front and back. Attached to the collar is a pointed hood that drapes down the back of the garment. At either side of the waist there are welted vents which enable access to pockets in garments worn underneath the surplice.

Austin Reed robe or dressing gown of cotton or cotton and linen mix fabric printed with an all over abstract pattern of swirls and foliage (possibly pine cones and pine needles) in orange, teal green, light blue, brown and cream. It has hand sewn finishing and two self covered buttons with bound buttonholes. It has two patch pockets on the front and comes with a detachable tie belt of the same fabric with black tassels at each end. There are two belt loops on the gown. Areas of fading to the fabric and woven brown tape Austin Reed label in the back of the neck.

Black coated waterproof cycling cape with brush painted sealed seams. The cape is shaped at the shoulders, with the front body larger than the back so the seam sits underneath when laid flat. The centre front closes with two silver Newey Brothers press studs, and secures with a strap and buckle. The collar is lined with velvet. The front has a cotton tie on each side, attached to a small circle, and sewn to the front in a circle of stitching. There is a third tie stitched to the centre back which ties between the legs to the front to secure the cape. The hem is curved and finished with a double turn and top stitch. Made in Scotland

Black coated waterproof cycling trousers. The centre front ties closed with a length of cotton tape, and the fly closes with a single button through to the outside in the centre. There is a second layer of fabric stitched to strengthen the crotch area which extends to the knee on centre front. Made in Scotland.

Long striped cotton jersey rugby top with white cotton woven collar and wide ribbed cuffs. The hoop stripes are horizontal wide dark blue or purple with narrow yellow gold stripes. The turn down collar is doubled cotton twill an the neck opening is reinforced with a wide light grey twill cotton tape. It fastens with three white cotton washing buttons. The jersey is well worn, has been mended and patched, has holes and runs, and the colour has faded.

White lightweight woven cotton 'athletic union suit' underwear. It is a one-piece garment, sleeveless with a V-neck and scoop back, opens down the centre front and fastens with five white buttons. There is a flap opening at the back which fastens with one white button. Inserted at the back waist is cream cotton knitted jersey rib with two wide belt loops, the straps of the vest part are made of white cotton knitted jersey ribbing. Between the top and second button has been printed with 'PAT' and numbers (indecipherable). Makers label in the back of the neck.

White cotton underwear shorts. They have a curved yoke and waistband made of a double layer of the main fabric. There is a centre front opening which fastens at the top with three cotton covered washing buttons and is open below. There are two tape loops sewn horizontally to the front waistband for braces buttons. Size 42.

Wool one piece swimsuit in dark red or burgundy finely knitted wool. It has a deep scoop neck with straps over the shoulders and fitted legs to mid-thigh. The back of the swimsuit is also scooped and it is cut low under the arms. There is a modesty panel at the crotch. Label in the back of the neck.

One piece dark blue cotton jersey swimsuit. It has a high round neck bound with dark blue woven cotton binding, the same binding is used around the armholes. The left shoulder fastens with two mother of pearl buttons. The legs of the swimsuit reach to just above the knee.
